Casey came to us with a vision of making the Protea (the national flower of South Africa and a special nod to Anton’s heritage) the focal point of her invitations. We had absolutely no qualms with that – with such beautiful, bold colors and an impact that cannot be ignored, the Protea is a perfect star of the show! We splashed it in the envelope liner so guests could see it right away, layered it lightly across the top of the invitation, and then added in complementing colors of hot pink, blush, forest green and mint green to make it all pop. We fashioned a simple letter mark from the script on the invitation and used it on the envelope as well as the bellyband for continuity.  To tie into the day-of items, we added double-sided fan programs, table number cards, cocktail napkins, and wraparound labels for the honey jar favors.
