Step 1: Gather and ready your materials
Go ahead and paint or color both sides of your popsicle sticks to make it green like flowers stems.Â
Step 2: Glue the cupcake liners
If the colors on the outside of the liners are more vibrant than the inside you can turn them inside-out.
Glue the mini liner inside of the large one
Glue a matching button inside of the mini liner
Step 3: Make leaves
If you have a green cupcake liner you can cut leaves out of that, if you donât grab some green paper and use that.
You can freehand or draw a leaf then cut it.
Glue the leaves where you want them on your dried popsicle sticks.
Step 4: Glue your âflowersâ on the tops of the popsicle sticks
Itâs good to wait until the last bit of glue you used for for the liners and buttons are dried so itâs not soggy on the bottom of the liner.
Step 5: Add your crinkle paper to the carton
Make sure you add enough to where itâs stiff and will make the sticks stand up
Step 6: âPlantâ your flowers
You have to play with them to make sure they stay standing up. You might also have to add more crinkle paper
Tips & Tricks
It gives a cleaner look on the buttons if you put the glue on them instead of on the cupcake liner.
You can also cut the bottom of the popsicle stick in the front to shorten it if you want to see the back two flowers better!
