Sara+ Austin

October 22nd , 2022| Winston Salem, NC

During the initial consultation, our bride Sarah said the creative direction for the whole weekend could be summed up like this: “If Taylor Swift would have it at her wedding, then it’s cool with me” and that’s when I knew it was going to be a whole vibe. Sarah was certainly in her Lover era with the straight-out-of-a-fairy-tale backdrop that Graylyn Estate offers. From the exchange of vows in front of the stately stone gazebo draped in flowers, to cocktail hour in the English rose garden, to moonlit photos on the upper-level balcony, to a sparkler exit on the cobblestone pathway, Sarah and Austin’s big day radiated romance at every turn. And the paper goods were no exception to that rule. We used a soft and tonal pink color palette mixed with gold accents and fine details like cotton paper, silk ribbon, and vintage postage to set the tone. We carried these details over to the day-of with programs, menus, table numbers, and scroll style place cards intertwined in the tines of each guest’s fork.

THINGS TO NOTICE:

Digitally printed suite, oval wax seal, custom venue watercolor, calligraphed envelopes, vintage postage, double-wrapped silk ribbon, book-backed table numbers, scroll style place cards
